The 1970s were plagued by industrial strife culminating in the winter of discontent in 1978/79. This was quickly followed by Margaret Thatcher becoming Prime Minister which led to enormous upheaval in the economy, with inflation reaching more than 20% and interest rates 15%. It also saw the rapid development of an entrepreneurial culture.

We recently made our first ever house purchase through Pearcelegal. In a ridiculously busy time for the industry having a conveyancing solicitor you can trust is invaluable. My experience with Pearcelegal was genuinely faultless. Sam Keefe is an absolute credit to the firm, kept us well informed throughout and had patience with us as first time buyers having plenty of questions.
We were able to complete in 10 weeks (including the Christmas holidays) and were amazed. Thanks to Mark, Carol and Laura too. We would not hesitate to engage Pearce legal again in future. Thanks all.

I know of Pearcelegal as I work with them through my business so when I purchased my house they were the natural choice (although when working with people you know through business it's a little worrying incase anything goes wrong). Due to something unavoidable, I was passed to another solicitor but Elaine picked up my case and was extremely professional and on the ball to get my exchange and completion done on time.
I had very inflexible vendors with unrealistic expectations however, they were met on time and everything went to plan. I have no idea how as the timelines were very tight but I would throughly recommend Pearcelegal for all Conveyancing requirements to anyone buying or selling their house. I was also in Spain during l period, but they made what could have been a very complicated situation, relatively easy. Thank you to the whole team.

Thorough on legal matters, but pretty poor customer care. Most correspondence with the firm left us feeling quite frustrated and unsure of what is required of us to do. If you are comfortable with legal proceedings and jargon, then this is a reliable firm. But if you are looking for a firm that takes the time to explain the process to their customers, and makes sure that they are aware of what is required of them, gives you enough notice for when monies are due, or when hard copies need to be sent etc, look elsewhere.

I was recommended to speak to Nick Thomas regarding a separation with my wife. I automatically felt comfortable and at ease. The whole process was very straight forward and nick couldn't of been anymore helpful. Due to the separation the house was sold and we used Pearce legal for the conveyancing to make things easier, I dealt with Alison and again I couldn't of felt any more comfortable. Assistance was there when I needed it and nothing was too much trouble. From start to finish I had no complaints whatsoever. Thank you!

Just had a great initial meeting with Stephanie in relation to my pending divorce. She gave me some excellent advice alongside a clear and open estimate of the likely cost, timescale and possible outcome. I now feel more confident in the process and am now in a much more positive frame of mind than I have been for quite some time. Thank you very much.

I have a family which has been requesting money for some time now. She has been placed in various different care home and yet not one penny apart from furniture has been located to her. She is 97 and would like to go shopping with the manager of the elderly support. This is beyond a joke and help has been limited. I will assist the family and her biological family to consider looking into another solicitors. Just being given false hope

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for all of your hard work in securing our sales and purchase. We understand that our purchase was probably more complicated than your average transaction, but we are very thankful to you and your team, and are delighted to be moving into our new home, thank you!
