Our solicitors all specialise in a minimum of two areas of law. We feel that this offers you a broader depth of experience. This means that we can often offer you better solutions to your problems and can highlight issues that you may not have considered. Many of our existing clients have found this to be the case.
We seek a fee earner who has over one year experience running their own files. We work in a friendly and supportive environment and staff enjoy social events and taking part in charity events. All of our staff are chosen for their community involvement and sense of compassion. We obtain good quality work from individuals, their families and businesses.
I specialise in all aspects of family law including divorce and dissolution, separation, issues relating to contact between children and their parents and other relatives. I also deal with financial settlements which can include houses, pensions and business assets. I trained at Ward Hadaway and have over 30 years of family law experience.

I have used Emmersons Solicitors, specifically Stephen Donohue, for a handful of property purchases. Every conveyance the same - professional, prompt, detailed, friendly and efficient. Their advice is spot on and response time to emails is phenomenal. Our last transaction was with an awkward seller but Stephen remained professional and level headed throughout! Top Solicitor by far!

Jasmine at Emmersons Solicitors was our conveyancer when we sold our house in 2020/21. She was highly professional and replied to all our inquiries with impressive speed. Emmersons Solicitors I have used on a few occasions and always are very polite and helpful, John Griffith was the solicitor I had, John and his team kept myself informed on a regular basis regarding the case, I suffered from a few medical problems and John made life a little more easier and understanding regarding the case. These are the best solicitors out there. we used their service for the purchase of our first home and they were absolutely brilliant. Stephen explained the process thoroughly and If we had any questions, he was just a phone call away. We got the home in just a month. I was involved in an incident involving a child running out in front of my car. The police were determined to prosecute me even though it wasn't my fault. I used Emmersons, John Griffith to fight my case. He was very understanding from the start. He looked at the CCTV which showed clearly the boy crossing when the red man was in clear view. John wrote to the CPS and had the case thrown out. They are a fantastic company and I would recommend them to anyone.

John Griffiths at Emmersons solicitors represented my partner in his parole hearing. John was extremely helpful and explained the full process to us. My partner is maintaining innocence and he had been informed by prison officers that it is highly unlikely to have parole granted at the first hearing. John Griffiths submitted the report and accompanied my partner at the oral hearing.
I am pleased to say that with John's help and advise my partner was was granted parole. Following my partners release, John has also been very helpful with discussions between my partner and the probation service. I would recommend his services.

We used Emmersons to buy our house, we were first time buyers so were rather clueless. We also used Help to Buy ISA's which are fairly new and a lot of confusion was being shared through the media.
