During my grievance I was completely broken mental and extremely vulnerable. I went to KBL for help with a tribunal, this couldn't happen & I had already been through all of the settlement by myself, with them making 2 offers. Fees was discussed and ex employer paid towards as well, once my settlement came in to the solicitor my fees was double by a rude call from my solicitor herself.

After exchanging many emails I ended up paying more then we had agreed. I later found out money that was meant to be returned to the ex employer wasn't returned until I emailed asking why. It was in my settlement agreement that this would be sent within a week of receiving my settlement which went straight to her, it's wasn't sent. I emailed my ex employer who said they hadn't received the money and email the solicitor who then sent the money a few days later. Took full advantage of receiving my settlement by over charging me knowing she already had my settlement money and not returning money she owed my ex employer within time of my settlement agreement.

KBL dealt with my very difficult divorce case. Very good at pretending they have your best interests at heart but the reality was they are intent on extracting as much money as they can. I was extremely vulnerable during my divorce and this was capitalised on by KBL. I was given completely unrealistic advise and hope as to the outcome of my case and repeatedly told to keep on going regardless of the courts indications as to the likely outcome/settlement.

Excellent service for my conveyance from start to finish. Despite the workload the stamp duty holiday created for solicitors, KBL managed the sale and purchase of our new house in 8 weeks (completed 13th July).
