Superb conveyancing team. Mo, Sian and co were an absolute delight to deal with throughout the conveyancing process up until the completion of my purchase. Always available, knowledgeable and proactive.

Completely useless and rude people. They wasted my time and money and did NOTHING! Avoid such unprofessional solicitors. They need to go back to the university and refresh their knowledge!

Critical: Value The only thing they do effectively is bill! Dragged out the whole process and wasted time and money on endless, fruitless correspondence. I would not recommend these people to anyone who actually expects results.

WARNING: steer clear of this scammy organization. We hired Bolt Burdon for a routine change to a lease where all parties had already agreed to the change and only needed solicitors to actually make the amendments. They offered to charge a fixed fee, rather than by the hour, and we took them up on it because we thought it would be a hard limit on our costs.

It was clear that as soon as they couldn't charge us by the hour we were the lowest priority for Bolt Burdon. We must have called them 30 times, every time we called they were 'busy' and not once did they return our call. Months go by with no contact despite constant emails and calls from our end. Eventually they do get in contact - to ask for more money!

That's right - even though we paid a "fixed" lump sum up front they demanded almost the same amount again, despite the fact that they did practically no work. Foolishly we paid the extra amount and we went back to not hearing from them. More months went by with zero returns to our calls and email, then suddenly they got in touch - they needed more money again!

Eventually the whole thing fell though, after 18 months. They initially estimated it would take less than 10 hours to do the work. They never even produced a draft of the changes! We are in the process of opening up an official complaint with the Legal Ombudsman. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I have had recent dealings with Ella Wright, who acted for a purchaser on one of our sales. She was extremely proactive, communicative, helpful and patient, as our clients solicitor was the complete opposite. I cannot recommend Ella enough and look forward to dealing with her again.
