Services
James Button & Co provides legal advice in the areas of licensing, environmental health and public health. This includes taxi licensing, premises, club and personal licences under the Licensing Act 2003 (including Temporary Event Notices), street trading, sex establishment licensing and so on. Environmental health includes statutory nuisance, and health and safety, and Public Health includes infectious disease control law. Legal advice is charged per hour, and Subscribing Authorities will receive a discount on the normal charging rates.
These courses provide comprehensive coverage of the hackney carriage and private hire licensing regime and the role and functions of the licensing authority. The introductory course provides an excellent overview for new practitioners or as a refresher for established practitioners. The course is suitable for licensing authority officers, councillors, police officers and taxi licensees.
