Wonderful place, amazing views, fantastic whisky. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. Don't forget to ask for your rent!

Laphroaig distillery is set in a gorgeous bay on Islay. The tour guide was knowledgeable and had some very good recommendations. The tour had multiple options for tastings and offered driving drams for those not drinking. The bar was a little lacking for those wanting some rare drams, but had a nice selection of the core range. The shop has a nice variety and we found our plot and collected our rent (5cl bottle) for being 'friends of Laphroaig'.

Oddly I've never toured Laphroaig, it's an excellent, comprehensive tour and great value including glencairn glass, lanyard and free drams in mini bottles for the driver. This is a must do on an islay visit. Thanks Sorcha.

Had a very good tour with a knowledgeable guide. I liked that the tour included a glass lanyard and whiskey glass even though I wasn't a huge fan of the whiskey.

Customer service. I'm going to leave a review on customer service. If you're already thinking about going to Laphroaig, chances are that you know of the whisky and it's quality. On top of that, you can see how incredible the location is from photos, so that will give you plenty of camera moments. What makes this place so beautifully unique is it's people.

Great customer service is becoming a rare thing, but this place completely challenges that. They seemed genuinely happy to have people at the distillery, and everyone I met wanted to go above and beyond to make my experience memorable and special. It was so good I went on two separate days. On the first day was the warehouse tasting experience (which was incredible by the way), then I went back the second day to the small and lovely decor'd bar for a flight of the old and rare, talked through it by the staff.

Final words of appreciation go to the individuals who made this the best experience possible. Marc, Debbie, Alice and Susan.thank you for making sure my time with you exceeded my expectations and will live long in the memory.

Visiting Laphroaig was a dream come true! The home of my favourite whisky has been on my 'to visit' list for a number of years and getting to see where it comes from has left me with a greater appreciation of the life and love that goes into producing such a fantastic tipple. Nestled in a bay, the distillery benefits from beautiful views out to sea, catch the sun at the right time of day and it'll firmly etch itself within your favourite memories.

The whisky tasting in Warehouse 1 with Sorcha was an education and a great laugh. Sampling 3 unique whiskies and walking away with a bottle of one is an extra little treat that will ensure I'll remember the place when back at home with a glass of it in my hand. We visited on the day when Distillery Manager John Campbell was leaving, our tasting was slightly disrupted by the fact that he was giving a speech to staff.

As a 'thank you' for our patience John signed a dram for us. At the distillery they've ensured that the history of the place hasn't been lost. The visitor experience was, as a result, very intimate. They haven't built a big gift shop or seating/dining like other distilleries on the island. This is authentic! Thanks Sorcha, thanks John, thanks Laphroaig!

As a customer of Laphroaig for many years, I visited the distillery "off-season" and had a wonderful, informative time. Sadly, since its acquisition by Suntory of Japan, the customer service has slipped badly. I bought a less-than satisfactory bottle of Select, contacted the distillery, got no satisfaction despite several emails back and forth, and am now done with drinking Laphroaig. Fortunately Scotland produces several other fine single-malt Scotches.

We had the Warehouse 1 Tasting experience and it was amazing. You get to taste 3 drams of whiskey unavailable anywhere, and you get to take home 2 bottles of the ones you liked. Also, you learn about how they age and the casks, and drinks amazing whiskey all in the warehouse where they age. It's an amazing scenery, smell, and tasting experience. You also get to take home the tasting glasses in padded boxes so you can put in your check in luggage in case you're flying.

With limited availability on tours, I settled on booking a slot in the shop. Laphroaig are taking CV19 very seriously which is fair enough, just one + case could wipe out most of their workforce! The shop is well stocked and the staff were very helpful in offering tasters. My ultimate highlight was returning the next day via paddleboard along the coast, which provides some excellent views! Hope to visit again soon and have a tasting tour!

The warehouse tasting at Laphroaig that we did this week is one of the best so far on this trip to Scotland. Our tasting guide, Craig, was very knowledgeable, friendly and quite informative about all of the expressions that we tried. We got to fill a 250 mL bottle of our favorite expression to take with us, which was completely unexpected and a really pleasant surprise!

The Laphroaig team has made some extra efforts to ensure that the tasting experience is well received by the visitors. We highly recommend it and would certainly like to do it again. Thanks to all the team at Laphroaig for making this a great experience.
