Two of the original founding partners are still with the firm, namely Miles Preston and Julia Stanczyk. The partnership has been strengthened by the addition of Anna Nice, Harriet Wait and Marcus Dearle. Miles Preston set up Miles Preston & Co with Julia Stanczyk and Siobhan Readhead in 1994 and is now a non-practising consultant to the firm.

We know how stressful the breakdown of a relationship can be. The process of obtaining a divorce can be surprisingly straightforward and rarely results in either of the parties having to attend court. The procedure in the main is completed on paper in correspondence between solicitors and court. The reason for the relationship breakdown rarely impacts on the way the finances are dealt with.

Harriet is the go to person for anyone in need of care and advice at a particularly vulnerable time. She deftly picks her way through complicated and emotionally charged circumstances, with diligence, professionalism, and even a sense of humour. She provides a support system that you didn't realise was possible, and strives passionately to get the best result. I have no hesitation in recommending her to friends and colleagues who want someone to fight their corner being tough, with good grace.

Unfortunately, to write this review I had to give them 1 Star which was way beyond them deserving a rating! This company destroyed my life! Harriet Wait pressurised me to get a Novitas Loan for further litigation that I didn't need! My order was so loose that I ended up with NOTHING. DO NOT TOUCH THESE SOLICITORS!

One star is too much! Poor service, overcharging clients and takes no responsibility when questioned on the quality level of the legal advice given. They rely on the Legal Ombudsman to deal with their fraudulent actions. This will take me in circles and they know it. Don't use them unless you don't care of the outcome of your case and how much you spend.
Don't fall for their charm as they try to get involved in your private life by inviting you to concerts, art openings, bars etc. They want to be seen as friendly, but the reality is they are milking you for as much money as they can. Also don't use their recommendations for other professionals. They are just the same. Avoid them!
