As McConnell Kelly celebrates a quarter century of being one of Northern Ireland's leading criminal law firms, the company is looking forward to an exciting future, including the development of new services for its customers. The firm commenced practising just over 25 years ago when the two founding partners, Fergus McConnell and Patrick Kelly, along with office manager Jennifer Graham, opened first floor offices at Comber Road, Dundonald.Shortly afterwards, the Ballyhackamore office was opened. More recently an office was opened in Main Street, Bangor and just last year a fourth office, specialising in conveyancing, was opened also in Ballyhackamore, near to the existing office there.

Fergus McConnell LLB has been at the forefront of civil litigation in Northern Ireland for over 30 years. Having received his LLB Honours degree from Brunel University, London with experience of working for the Department of Public Prosecutions, Northern Ireland Court Service and BP, he returned home and met Pat Kelly, who would become his friend and business partner for the next 25 years. Today both men are co-founders and directors of Northern Ireland's elite criminal law practice, McConnell Kelly.

I would highly recommend this firm! Fergus was fabulous dealing with wills and probate and Cathy Forsythe has been a veritable superstar dealing with complex conveyancing issues. The service provided to us has been efficient, personable and professional, and it is very clear that both Fergus and Cathy have a wealth of knowledge and experience to bring to any legal situation.
Just as impressive for me was their patience and skill in helping us to understand the various legal issues and processes (and this can't have been an easy task!) All in all it was a real pleasure working with them. Thank you very, very much.

Mark Austin is class! What he said, he reach. And you are not talking to "robot" telling you milion words which no one understand. You can, and in your own interrest you should, be totaly honest with him. If he knows truth he can better help. "HE IS NOT HERE TO JUDGE YOU, HE IS HERE TO HELP YOU"! If you need profi lawyer, you are not smart if you dont contact him! And untill you do that, just 2 words should be existing for you. Its "NO" and "COMMENt"! JUST THESE TWO! :- Thanks a milion Mark!

I have used this firm around 7-8 times now for criminal trials, their solicitor Johnny Burke has always been professional, Helpful and has won every trial I have attended so far and having dealt with around 4-5 other solicitors in the past none of them are anywhere near as committed to their clients as mcconnell kelly & co, Highly recommended, Would not use anyone else.
