McKinnon Hewitt was established in 1993. Since then we have grown to be one of the busiest legal Firms in Irvine. We have a reputation for providing a professional and efficient service at a reasonable cost. From the beginning we made a business decision to move the legal profession forward. We decided that we wanted to dispel the old image of Solicitors.

You can choose the person you want to help you, called an Attorney, and decide what powers the Attorney should have. You also choose how you want your incapacity to be decided so that it is clear when you want your Attorney to act on your behalf.

I've used this solicitors for over 20 years and would not hesitate in recommending them. They are always professional and will work tirelessly for their clients. I've just completed on a house purchase and Frances and the team went over and above to conclude things as speedily as possible in difficult circumstances.

Had the displeasure of having to collect my property keys from this company. The lady could not have been more unhelpful. I informed them ahead of time I would be slightly late in collecting the keys as I was coming from England. Was rudely told on the phone if I was not here at 09:45 I would be waiting over an hour just to collect some keys. Upon collecting the keys for my first ever house it was a very rude and unpleasant welcome. Would not recommend.

I found this lawyers practice very helpful and the staff were friendly and efficient. Unlike a previous reviewer, I have found their communication full and extensive. The offices are well appointed for the function and there is plenty of (time limited) car parking nearby. Being close to the town centre it is very convenient. To be recommended.
