Very reasonable price for the work carried out, as wasnt straight forward. Aways replied quickly, which makes a change for solicitors, Pleased with the service as internet solicitors can be are hit & miss. I would use again.

My husband and I just completed the purchase of our first family home. Words cannot express how impressed we are with the service we received from Karen Rieveley and the Hodders Law team. Karen was so responsive throughout the house buying process. She responded to our emails promptly, she ensured that queries were dealt with in a timely manner and ensured that the purchase went through smoothly.

If not for a query from the bank, I truly believe that our purchase would have completed in 2 months instead of 3 because of how efficient Karen is. My husband and I have decided that we will only use Karen for future transactions and I will definitely refer friends and family to Karen. It has been a truly great experience. Thank you Karen (and to your team) for your great service and hard work. Honestly, if you want a conveyancer who will not waste your time and will get the job done in a timely manner then use Karen Rieveley!

Excellent service provided by Simon Cook. Clear and concise advice that was incredibly helpful. We have also used the services of the frankly brilliant Naureen Matlib in the past and we look forward to to doing so again in future. Cannot recommend them enough!

Unfortunately I couldn't put zero stars. Absolutely shocking performance. I had to chase everything from day one. Pushed from pillar to post constantly, missed two contract exchange deadlines and my solicitor didn't bother chasing anyone or anything. Personally I put in around 40 hours of chasing myself. More than shocking. 10 months after completion I find out that the have only just told the management company I'm the new owner!

Even better than that. After 11 months Hodders still haven't told Land Registery that I own the property, lucky for my family I have been run over by a bus. After all this I still had to pay full price for their shocking standard work that nearly a year on still hasn't been completed. Not to be trusted.

Initially we had a few hiccups which we believe were due to our assigned solicitor leaving unexpectedly. However once our case had been assigned to Naureen Matlib it was much smoother. Naureen was helpful and communicative and rose to the challenge of a last minute mortgage issue and we managed to complete on the correct day.

Thank you to the team at hodders, both the sale and purchase teams. I know some of the reviews are negative but I can honestly say that we have had a great experience. The contact has been frequent and email replies are always quick. We completed on our sale when we needed to and the purchase completion was pushed for by the team and it actually happened quicker than expected.

We can't thank them enough, and the quotes were very good. Some will say you get what you pay for but the quote from hodders was better than anywhere else with no compromise to the service. On top of this they have a brilliant mobile app to keep an eye on progress, which you don't really get with other firms. Thank you for a great experience!

I completed on my flat yesterday, My experience with Hodders was very good. I was looked after every step of the way by Sherine Silva, there was a lack of communications from the vendors solicitor, Sherine kept plugging away and even helped the Vendor here and there, she got back to me straight away with answers to my questions. A very professional service.

Quite a poor experience with this firm in all honesty. Took absolutely forever to do anything. Couldnt get my post-completion documents for months which i needed for my busines as they would just keep forgetting or ignoring. Next to no communication throughout the conveyancing process also. Quality of work was fine but very much let down by the level of service and wont be using again

Overall experience was ok. Very slow to start with and not much communication at all. I was asked to do certain things that were not for me to do and got very confusing. But in the end communication got alot better and my questions were answered I would rate a 5 out of 10

Failed to deliver customer service as conveyancing solicitors, no communication, failed to call back or answer the phone despite tight deadline. Requested documents one at a time rather than listing everything that would be required, so hugely delayed the process, requested same documents and information multiple times, indicating files were not kept or there was no sharing between colleagues. Unprofessional written correspondence with incorrect words used. Swift to demand additional payment after weeks of seeming unresponsiveness.

Find it hard to believe they are genuine registered solicitors, given the level of incompetence and lack of client care. If they are too busy to take on work they should state this so clients can look elsewhere. Eventually delivered after the original deadline, but gave client no progress reports during the process, so it was a stressful and dissapponting experience.

Avoid! It took much longer than it should have to complete my property purchase, despite it being a relatively simple, no chain, new build situation. Utterly poor communication - most of the time I had to chase up for weeks before getting any answers. Forms they were sending off to various places kept having to get resent due to continuous mistakes, slowing down the process even further.

At one point an entire month passed with nothing happening until I finally managed to actually get through to them. I was even told that other cases were being prioritised over mine. Even on the day of exchange it was nearly 6pm before it happened when it was supposed to be mid day (again due to forms being submitted incorrectly!) I contacted the manager about the situation and got a very dismissive reply, she obviously didn't give 2 hoots! Overall very unsatisfied with the service and would not recommend them to anyone.

They respond slowly, claim to "lose" emails that they receive, riddle their contracts with basic spelling/grammar errors, and are very difficult to contact. My transaction for a simple 1 bed flat took 5 months. I had to correct lots of their documents for them. They forget lots of basic parts of the process and have to be reminded and chased constantly. An extraordinarily dreadful service.

Very professional with high priority given to the quality of services offered to the clients. I do not hesitates to recommend them.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Very unprofessional, lazy, incompetent firm. I'm amazed they're allowed to keep functioning. I would be here all day if I had to describe all their failings and I'm not wasting anymore time and energy on these cowboys. Just do yourself a favour if you're considering this company and ABSOLUTELY AVOID! I wish I could give 0 stars!

I had the misfortune of dealing with this firm. They were recommended via the Conveyancing Index who were unavailable when this firm didn't respond to me in 3 weeks. I signed a letter of engagement on the 19th March, paid money into their client account and heard nothing for a week. I contacted them. I was assured to be contacted and instead I had to chase again.

The Managing Partner got involved and without sounding arrogant, for a Solicitor, her Grammar, Communication and Conduct was disappointing to say the least. In conclusion, their services were terminated today as there hasn't been an ounce of work done in nearly 3 weeks. If anyone is going to take their chances with this firm, I look forward to seeing a similar a review. Anyway, next step - The Law Society.
