GEMMA STOW, Simply to sum up is incompetent, currently handling relatives estate and after mistakes eg hmrc tax etc etc and excuse after excuse after excuse, still the estate is not completed, 2 years in. complaints have been made but not passed on to relative senior partners, use green & green solicitors at your peril they appear only interested in what they can get and not bothered with their clients

8 May 2022 Response from G&G to our review below fails to clarify our concerns re input from Simon Ratcliffe Ltd and links with Axis Partnership. We relied on supposed independent and professional legal services to protect us the client from the other party, but are told here with some arrogance that we the client had to resolve failure by the other party.

So what level of so-called service, 'fit for purpose' contract and risk management did we pay for? "Our expectations in 2012 were for reasonable levels of professional 'due diligence' in the provision of legal services; accountability; openness and transparency. Our outcomes and experiences at the combined hands of Greene and Greene/Simon Ratcliffe Ltd and their 'contacts' at unregulated Axis Partnership have ruined our lives to date. Our one-star rating for Greene and Greene/Simon Ratcliffe Ltd, whichever was supposed to be dealing with our interests, is honest, generous and appropriate."

Really can't recommend Selene at Greene & Greene enough she is second to none, absolutely brilliant. She resolved my issue quickly and professionally, if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have the result she skilfully achieved. An absolute credit to Greene & Greene.

It's hard to put into words how much I appreciate and value Selene's work. Not only professionally, but her compassion and empathy for my situation was immediately reassuring. We used Greene & Greene for my Mother's will. I needed to obtain a copy of the will to use for proof of funds for a deposit on a property. I called and spoke to lovely receptionist the first time who passed on details to receive a call back, but this never happened. About 3-4 weeks later I called again, this time I was put through to the relevant department and spoke with a very nice lady, who passed on my information again to a solicitor who said it'll roughly take 1-3 business days to receive a response/will.

It has now been another 3 weeks and nothing. Luckily I managed to used the governments online will/probate search. Very disappointing considering the severity/ timeframe I said I was on, and having to ring back to chase.

A fantastic and efficient service from start to finish. Mark Daly was able to offer sound and considered advice, to help guide us through the purchase of an established business. Mark's input was most helpful when it came to the due diligence process. He was approachable and extremely personable at all times. We shall most certainly use Greene & Greene again. Thank you once again Mark - money well spent!
