Although believed to be the successor of a much older firm, Brown & Corbishley started life in the 1920s in a first floor office in the High Street in Newcastle-under-Lyme under the leadership of William Harold Brown, and took its present name of Brown & Corbishley soon after Ernest Corbishley was taken into partnership. The practice continues to grow and, whilst it would probably be unrecognisable to its founders, continues to offer a friendly, efficient and reliable service to its clients.

I give ASR 5 stars simply because of the wonderful human being that is Nassar Ahmed. Once he picked up my visa application case, we felt that someone at ASR was finally looking after my case and actually following up on it. His empathy to our situation made a world of difference, especially as I was getting fraught over pandemic related delays. He always made himself available for any questions or concerns we had and passion for what he does and for his clients will make me happily refer him to anyone I know that is looking for a dedicated solicitor! This firm is so unprofessional! Never return calls and never pay their bills. Whenever you call Sameera is always unavailable and will not call you back! Her staff are rude arrogant chain smokers. This firm doesn't care about its clients all they care about is money! They fraudulently falsify legal aid paperwork to obtain more money for work they never do. Reported to the regulator expect a visit from the SRA.
