Services
Beginning life as a family firm over 200 years ago we have always been committed to maintaining a personal touch. Whilst we may have grown big enough to have expertise across many areas of personal and business law, we have also remained grounded enough to give each of our clients the attention they deserve.
Our aim is to provide a straightforward guide for the rates we charge relating to the services we deliver. This is based on the amount of time spent on your matter and although we will have no way of knowing what this will be at the outset, we will provide you with a cost estimate based on our experience of matters similar to your circumstances.
When a relationship breaks down it can be very difficult and upsetting, with one of the most challenging aspects being making decisions for the care of your children or grandchildren such as who will have parental responsibility, living arrangements and how much time will be spent with who. Beyond those core arrangements, there needs to be consideration given to the many other aspects of life when caring for children, including; communication methods, holidays, school arrangements, time spent with other family members and how to introduce new partners.
Cohabiting unmarried couples are becoming more and more common. You may think the only difference between you and a married couple is a piece of paper. However, your legal rights should the relationship break down, are significantly different. As unromantic as it may seem it is always wise to prevent difficulties by preparing for them, especially if you're financially dependent on your partner. A Cohabitation Agreement will help protect your shared rights over property and money should your relationship come to an end.

Bendles were super quick, efficient and friendly. Jude was superb, even calling on a Sunday post Christmas to sort some things to speed up the sale. They had to deal with our Scottish Solicitors (selling in England, but based in Scotland) and nothing was too much hassle. Kept informed throughout. Excellent service, would recommend!

We purchased with Bendles, Jude was great, methodical in her work ensuring everything was up to date when and where we needed. Our weeks running up to the move were stressful, but was in no way down to the Bendles team. They did everything they could due to issues with our buyers solicitors. Jude would ensure we were always in the loop and call back if we were worried about anything. Great service, would definitely recommend but hope we don't need to use again as we love our new home, thanks Jude for getting us there. Thanks, Liam J

I experienced a great service in the conveyancing of my first home. Jude was professional, responded quickly and answered all of my questions. I thought that buying my first home was going to be a stressful process but it turned out to be much easier than expected - I only had to sign a few papers! I would use Jude and Bendles again if I needed a solicitor and have recommended them to friends and family.
