The firm was set up by Tony Gold in 1963 with a staff of two. Tony had first honed his newly-qualified legal skills during National Service when he was approached by people of all ranks for advice and representation. He always wanted to help. That remains our aim today. More than fifty years later the firm has grown by specialising in diverse areas of the law, including personal injury, family, housing, commercial and employment.
Anthony Gold have three offices in South London: London Bridge, Streatham and Elephant & Castle. If you require wheelchair access our London Bridge and Streatham offices are fully accessible. All of our three offices in South London are on main public transport routes. Keep this in mind if you are travelling to us by car or bus.

Very unprofessional, they take details, full details then send you a message to say actually busy to respond to you or handle new cases. Then why did you take my details then call back to take further details? Ever heard of Data protection and asking for unnecessary information? Extremely unprofessional. Anthony Gold replied to my review only to emphasize their lack of understanding of how to handle customer information and feedback.
This is not about you not having the capacity to handle my case, I would respect such honest upfront feedback. My concern is your dishonesty as a law firm! You collected information, considered my case called back to ask for more information. Only to send me a text to say you were busy rather than considerate feedback as to why you do not want the case, If you were too busy you would have never called back wthin2 hrs to tell me your team is asking for more information. And still unable to provide an honest transparent responses to my review. AVOID this firm, they have no values or integrity

Terrible is the word. Firstly, I called Anthony Gold regarding conveyancing and never got a call back. Called again the following week and was attended promptly by Andrew Weir. He was pleasant, went through my questions and was patient. A couple of days later, I tried to get in touch with Andrew and he was not reachable as myself and partner have questions to our property purchase and we are in the stage of putting an initial offer for a house we like. Wanted to appoint Anthony Gold for their service and was put through by their reception to another solicitor in the conveyance department for questions as Andrew was unavailable.
The person who picked up, Peter, not only sounded like he was in rush to get rid of me, he spoke in such condescending manner I was totally disgusted. He even mentioned Andrew is my appointed solicitor and I should contact him instead. Dear Anthony Gold, Andrew is not my appointed solicitor. If he is not reachable and I wish to engage the services of the company, I should not be treated this way.
All Andrew did was provided me with a quotation and answered my questions. My call was to ask a few more questions and move forward to appoint your solicitor. Your other employee Peter should really review his manner and choose his words carefully. You just lost a client and left a negative impression of this company. To think that Peter claimed he had 20 years of experience and yet insist that Andrew is my appointed solicitor reflects the inability of this company.
If you cannot take on any more clients or give them the attention and be reachable, admit it and let clients know. Probably one of the worst client legal service I have experienced and a complete lack of client engagement skills.

Had a bad relationship with this firm and as deputys they are no good. 2 cases lost because they wasn't prepared. Also not the type that humanly care for there clients.as I was told that they had too many Jose's to deal with.otherwise they don't have time for everyone.! Not happy with the deputys at all.it took over a Yr to get a sim card off them And they r soppose to deal with my finances and affairs.!ohh and tried Andrew Brooks complaints department they don't get back!, left a load of messages still no answer

I was very happy with the service I received. I was previously homeless and had been battling Croydon Council for accommodation. They rejected my application 3 times. I was lost and didn't know what to do. I contacted Anthony Gold Solicitors as I had heard they were a good firm and well respected in this area and these types of cases. Anthony Gold took my case on.
I was well treated by the firm and what I love about Anthony Gold the most is the speed at which my case was carried out. In less than one year, I was housed by Croydon Council, thanks to Anthony Gold. I was very impressed by the Solicitor who took on my case, Mr. Timothy Waitt. I found him to be very professional and empathetic and he put forward a very strong case against Croydon Council. Timothy was able to express my concerns and how I was feeling at the time via his letters and I was very impressed and pleased by this.
I would recommend Anthony Gold to anyone. The staff in Anthony Gold was very welcoming and I felt appreciated and valued. I cannot express how much Anthony Gold has helped me. I was homeless and on the streets. Anthony Gold took me out of a very dark and frightening place. When I pass the places I use to sleep in, I am humbled that Anthony Gold was able to take me out of that bad situation. There are no words to say how appreciative I am for their help.

AVOID AT ALL COST - Went to their offices, followed their procedure filling forms, they informed me someone will contact me in latest 48h hours, 3 days after no one contacted me, so had to go to their offices again, meet with someone who wasn't specialized in the case who refer it to someone else in London Bridge offices called Elaine They tried to charge 400 fee for a consultation without even telling me who's taking the case and whats their background.
The first space the solicitor had to meet for 30 min was in 1 week ahead They refused to provide me with their Terms and Conditions upon request They refused to inform me about their complaint procedure because Jordan, Elaine's Assistant were busy with another client. Called to ask for their Terms of Service and the Switch bord Supervisor hangged up the call Wouldn't recommend to anyone as they are not professional.
