Lisa Girdwood at Brodies LLP recently handled my divorce which was exceptionally challenging and emotional distressing for me. Lisa not only gave me superb advice she compassionately walked me through every step of the way explaining technical legal jargon in plain terms that I could process and understand. She was not just professionally empathetic but checked up on me prior to weekends when she knew communications from my ex-husbands legal team would be upsetting me.

This was above and beyond her duties and shows not only is she in my mind, the best divorce lawyer in Scotland but one who genuinely cares about her clients. Not cheap but fantastic service this is a true case of you get wot you pay for

Was looking for a solicitor to deal with an executor who was refusing to pay out the inheritance I was due, Brodies done in 6 weeks which we had been trying to do for the past 2 and a half years, they dealt with him swiftly and decisively, seeing through his web of lies and smoke and mirror's type behaviour, the solicitor was fantastic and kept me updated even as soon as a recorded delivery was signed for and would always answer your call if available, or would call back normally within an hour, it's a pity that the law is so lax when it comes to people registering death's and becoming executors this was his fourth time, and there is no one able to check that they are doing the job correctly, another solicitor was hired by him the executor at a cost of just under 8000, he told them not to give out any information yet it was our mother's money he was using, he then got rid of them, and sat on the money forcing court action, as you can see it was a nightmare, if you find yourself needing a good solicitor I would reccomend Brodies without any hesitation and would like to thank them for there dedication and extremely hard work they put into this over a relatively short space of time. Thanks.

Awful service - they say they can help, keep you hanging on then say they cant help. Also listed in certain areas, but when you call its an empty office they say they use "occasionally"!. Would NOT recommend.

Great new building in the center of Glasgow. Was there for conference and brodies we're good hosts. Would recommend as a venue.
