I asked Wilson Nesbitt to handle the sale of my late father's house, having used them previously for my own conveyancing some years ago. As before, I found the service to be of the highest standard from making the initial contact right through to completion approximate 9-10 weeks later. Most impressively, and a rarity these days, I received responses to every question I posed within the shortest timescale, and at every step of the process, prompt action was taken, hence the surprisingly quick completion and payment of the proceeds.

I have spent over three decades in the financial services industry and have bought and sold a number of properties, and would rate Wilson Nesbitt among the best companies I have dealt with. Thanks so much to Lauren and Ling for the highest standard of service, carried out in a friendly, helpful and professional manner.

From the outset I was extremely impressed with Wilson Nesbitt and I could see why my brother recommended the firm. They were friendly, helpful and professional, and let me know what they needed from me and how they would proceed with my case. They assigned an excellent solicitor who was always easy to contact and provided detailed answers to any questions that I raised.

Most importantly, she reassured me throughout the process that everything was on track and ensured that completion was before the end of the stamp duty exemption period. I highly recommend this group of solicitors and especially Hannah-Louisa Ellison, my assigned solicitor.

By far the best experience we have had when buying/selling property. Communication was prompt and straight forward. Questions addressed in a timely manner and the whole thing was kept to the timescale. A seamless process. Would definitely use them again and would recommend their services.

I had a great experience purchasing my new truck and dealing with Brad Wang. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. He was quick to respond to e-mails with any questions I had. He took the time to go through all the features of the truck and explain how everything worked. I recommend dealing with Brad Wang and Wilson Nesbitt. It was an excellent experience!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Terrible solicitors. Advised that all paperwork was in place for property sale with no chain, then put the handover date back at the last minute causing huge expense and inconvenience. Really poor communications and unprofessional.

AVOID THESE SOLICITORS! Do not return calls, I'm still waiting on a call after ringing 2 weeks ago! Conveyance solicitors are incompetent, told lies, dragged out a straight forward no chain house purchase which lasted 15 weeks before a completion could be made! (They'll blame Covid of course!)

Wilson Nesbitt were appointed by the bank my remortgage was with as this was included in the service, and I was impressed with the service received. Prompt communication, updates on the case tracking system and no delays at all - completion took place on the due date. I found them approachable and would recommend for conveyancing services.

Didn't follow up all outstanding debts on my house purchase now ive inherited circa 400 management fees debt. I did ask for this to be dealt with prior to completion and it wasnt followed through (have email proof). Now telling/advising me to pay it to avoid legal action even though it was their fault as they didnt do the final check. Tried to brush this off as a common occurrence in house sales - they should then set up a process to protect clients from this if it is common for them.

Not happy and worried if anything else is not correct. I have been in contact for last few months to try and resolve and an administrator is dealing with this but I feel it's not being pushed for resolution by any solicitor and they just want me to pay and go away. Feel this is not good service and I would not recommend to use this firm (bangor) for house sale. UPDATE - Still not resolved. Very unhappy with this.

Very good experience. Yes nobody likes to pay solicitor fees but I was kept up to date on my case and have no complaints. Any queries I had were responded to promptly and I feel that the team in Bangor are very professional/competent in their roles. Keep up the good work! Special mention to April McDowell and Rebecca McCormick for their assistance.

Having recently used Wilson Nesbitt for both the sale of my property and purchase of my new home, I would highly recommend. They kept me informed, answered any questions I had along the way and generally took me by the hand. Great team and great service

Just completed my house purchase using Wilson Nesbitt. Was able to track the case online throughout and could drop into the Bangor or Belfast office with documents for signature.

I was genuinely surprised by the level of service we received when we bought our first home. They were never rushing me off the phone and I know I tortured them with 101 questions. And I wasn't even paying their fee because it was a Co-ownership case.

Wilson Nesbitt strung us along for 6 years running up enormous legal bills which they didn't keep us informed of. FOUR different solicitors handled the case during that time because their staff constantly move on to other companies (which I think says a lot). They didn't inform us when staff left and we were left sending emails etc without reply. They organised after the event insurance but failed to tell us our legal costs had far outrun its cover.

When we eventually got to court we were told that we had to accept any offer as otherwise the insurance wouldn't cover us. The barrister misrepresented the facts to the judge during the hearing and we had to interrupt to correct him. We felt they had come to court completely unprepared to actually represent the case and were just looking for an easy settlement at any cost.

Then the most sickening part came after we had been forced, very reluctantly, to settle. Wilson Nesbitt then tried to claim most of the compensation for themselves to cover their own legal costs as the other side were claiming the legal costs were unreasonably high. We actually had to employ another solicitor to sort it out. We were left exhausted and absolutely disgusted at the treatment we received from Wilson Nesbitt. We feel they were underhand and far from open and honest with us and their representation left a lot to be desired.

Disgusting human beings. The solicitor I employed told me I had a great case and I should fight it. Almost a year later, and 9000 in legal fees, my barrister confided that I never had a strong case at all. After running out of money and not being able to retain Wilson Nesbitts services anymore, I lost my case. I met my solicitor by accident in the courts on the day I had to concede I had lost my house, she was heading toward me in the corridor, just myself and her.

I stopped to say hello and she walked right past me, not saying a word. I would not recommend them to my very worst enemy, as far as I am concerned, and my barrister it seems, I was duped.

Thought I had already left a review for this company but don't see it appearing. Handled a house sale as part of my divorce and I have to say that everyone I came across in Wilson and Nesbitts was extremely polite and helpful. So used to getting my calls ignored with solicitors I used in the past, so to be called, emailed and even receive SMS texts was just fantastic! - Have already recommended to one of my friends and would use again.

I recently chose to go with this firm and it's Belfast office after my initial consultation that was both positive and professional. However, once I had signed the contract, this changed. My case was passed to someone else whom I had to chase constantly with emails for updates and whose email etiquette is clipped and abrupt to the point of being rude.

I was also advised that my case would be a 'no fee, no win' case yet I was then asked to fund any appointments pertaining to my case, the cost of which has caused me to end my case. In short I now have to pay a fee for the privilege of having signed on the dotted line with this firm but without a case to progress. I am very disappointed with the service I have received and have found this firm to be unprofessional. I would definitely not recommend them - beware!
